What does MyEZToll cost?
No subscription. No set-up fee. Nothing per vehicle. No contract or minimum term.
Nothing, for the fleet owner. Tolls and violations are collected from the renter who incurred them, and that is where the revenue comes from — the owner receives the toll in full plus a share of the fee charged to that renter. The one paid module is MyEZToll's own telematics: $150 per tracker and $10 per vehicle per month, optional and negotiable.
What is included at no cost
Everything an operator needs to collect what a rental actually cost:
- Toll retrieval from every connected agency account — 31 tested integrations across the United States and Canada.
- Violation and citation scanning, attribution and rebilling.
- Matching every crossing to the booking, vehicle and driver that incurred it.
- Invoicing, Stripe collection, retries, reminders and dispute evidence.
- Connecting a GPS platform you already run — Geotab, Samsara, Zubie, INVERS, DataTrack247, HQ Rental Telematics — and the alerts built on that feed.
- Driver licence recognition, bilingual rental agreements, 15 interface languages.
- The Partner API and its reference.
Where the money comes from
From the renter, not from you. When a toll or a violation is rebilled, a service fee is charged on top of it to the person who incurred the charge. The owner is paid the toll in full and keeps a share of that fee; the rest is what MyEZToll earns.
This is the whole commercial model, and it is why there is no per-vehicle price to negotiate: a fleet that incurs no tolls costs nothing to run, and a fleet with heavy toll traffic pays for the platform out of money that was previously leaving the business unrecovered.
What is paid: our own telematics
The one paid module is MyEZToll's own telematics — the trackers, if you want ours rather than a platform you already run:
- $150 per tracker, once, for the device.
- $10 per vehicle per month for the telematics service.
- Both are negotiable. If you are running on better numbers elsewhere, say so and we will talk — the hardware is a module, not the business model.
Questions people ask
- Is there a contract or a minimum term?
- No. There is nothing to commit to, because there is nothing to pay: the platform is free for the fleet owner and the revenue comes from the renters who incur the charges.
- Is there a limit on the number of vehicles?
- No. Three cars and three hundred cost the same to the owner: nothing.
- Does connecting my existing GPS platform cost anything?
- No. Connecting Geotab, Samsara, Zubie, INVERS, DataTrack247 or HQ Rental Telematics is included. Only MyEZToll's own telematics is paid: $150 per tracker and $10 per vehicle per month, and those figures are negotiable.
- What is the renter actually charged?
- The toll or the violation itself, plus a service fee on top of it. The fee is shown as its own line on the invoice, next to the crossing it belongs to, rather than folded into the road cost.
- What happens if the renter does not pay?
- The charge is retried, the driver is asked for a working card, and the evidence for a dispute is kept from the moment the charge is made. What is genuinely uncollectable is settled rather than left to accumulate.
